Kafka – Der zerrissene Fisch

For the puppet theatre piece “Kafka – der zerrissene Fisch” (Kafka – the torn fish) I produced a video showing Kafka on a public reading. The video was projected as an epilogue at the end of the piece.

The second mix recorded live at the Frequenzwechsel radio studio in 2006. A little random, it consists mostly of old mid/end-90s records such as MRI, C-Rock and D.Diggler. Back then I was still working at the Soulfree Record Store and for PoetsClub Records (both aka Christian Kessler) while being resident DJ at the Spital Café, Wiesbaden. more… »

Die Räuber – Short Circuits Vol. II

The performance created by Felix Ensslin and Markus Schmickler was staged in course of the conference “Spieltrieb” in Weimar. I filmed one of Brock Enrights commercial “kidnappings” that took place backstage at the same time. The pictures of the tortured woman were projected on a screen on stage.

Frequenzwechsel

Frequenzwechsel was conceived as festival radio, connecting visitors, artistsand festival crew. As an alternative to the usual sound clash on the camping site we delivered  a common fm radio signal with music and information on what was going on for everybody, including the crews quarters and cafeteria. We also involved the audience by giving a platform to visitors to present their own musical projects and play as djs in our studio. more… »

Während meines achtmonatigen Brasilien-Aufenthaltes absolvierte ich ein Praktikum bei der Theaterkompanie „Sutil Companhia de Teatro“. Felipe Hirsch führte zu dieser Zeit Regie bei der Produktion „Avenida Dropsie“, eine Adaption der Großstadtgeschichten des berühmten Comiczeichners Will Eisner.
